    I prefer just to keep things simple... mainly using the boat to get from place to place. In fact, I hardly fish out of the boat itself at all - I beach it.     The dam got fixed. The flows have resumed to normal. 0 units now means 20 cubic feet per second of water being discharged from the small in house unit which powers the dam.

    What if it was your favorite fishery ? You all wouldn't take this so lightly. ___________________________________ The positive support is underwhelming. We protect ponds better than upper lake Taneycomo.

    Bait fishing is out of control on Lake Taneycomo below the dam. Gets worse when big fish are caught on and tried to be released on bait. I see the dead fish. More collect on the bottom of the river every day. In the deep holes. Something has to change.

    Most have never seen this sign - the last one of its kind - surely we (the Missouri Department of Conservation) can make more - right ?

    The bank is what was failing - too much erosion from everything. Hat and sunglasses are an absolute MUST. This will all make sense - though now it does not.

    They did some tree trimming at Chute 2 - all in the name of bank stabilization for our future. Might look a little strange now... but they have plans...
