  1. MObass, You need to go further back into Bull Creek. When I go up Bull Creek I usually start at the island and work my way further up the creek. However, I have also been just as successful out on the main lake. There are some nice Bass in Taneycomo. I have also done well down close to Powersite Dam. Dan
  2. Last year when the water got warm we caught a lot of bass between Branson and Rockaway Beach. There was a period of time when they ran hardley any water and the water warmed up. Man did the bass fishing get good. We were catching them on Spinner Bait and Crank Bait. Go up Bull Creek by Rockaway Beach. I have caught a lot of bass up Bull Creek around the island. Good Luck, Dan
  3. Capt. Joe, I was using a silver color shad rap and a silver color rattle trap. I tried several spinner baits and did not get a bite on any spinners. I also tried buzz baits and meps spinners but no luck. I struck out in Bull Creek. I will be back down late next week and will try again. Dan
  4. I fished for Bass last Saturday and Sunday just below Branson on the Branson Side of Lake Taneycomo. We started fishing across from Taneycomo Lakefront Resort and fished about a mile down the lake on the West side. On Saturday I fished mainly with a Shad Rap. I caught 11 bass in about 3 hours. None were larger than 15". On Sunday I fished the same are and caught 6 bass in a 2 hour time frame. I caught them again on a shad rap and on a rattle trap. Monday I went to bull creek and fished all morning. I tryed everything and could not get a bite. But it was a fun weekend on Taneycomo.
  5. You might try Taneycomo Lakefront Resort. Their phone number is 417-334-7375 ask for Terry he is the owner and a very nice gentleman. They have a dock if you have a boat you need a slip for. I have stayed there many times.
  6. Fished from Powersite dam to swan creek Friday afternoon. I did not see hardly anyone catching fish. I was on the water at 1:00pm and caught two nice white bass within the first hour trolling a rooster tail. I did not catch another fish until about 5:00pm. I talked to quite a few people on the water and no one seemed to be catching anything.
