  1. 2014 Supreme L48XP with EZ Loader trailer, 3 seats, 2 stainless spider stands. Rod tubes for fly rods/spinning rods, front/rear dry storage. Only been in the water only a handful of times. Like new excellent condition and sales tax are already paid. $7,750 and new this boat sells for about $9K. It's a beautiful dark blue with matching trailer and seats..
  2. I'm betting they get them from Deans Top & Canvas south of Mtn. Home on Hwy 5....give them a call and they'll hook you up, but be ready to shell out some big $$$$...
  3. Price is $1900 and location is Melbourne---south of Calico Rock/Mtn. Home.
  4. Buy the 20hp Yamaha----you won't find a better set up for the money. If the water is so shallow the 20 Yamaha won't go, just get out an walk or pull it over a shoal. The 20 hp is the lightest of the motors and very quite----I like quite on the river---everyone likes quite on the river..
  5. $50K for both or will sell separate-----can't beat this deal on one of these lots....870-291-5950
  6. I have 2 off river lots across from Gaston's Resort in Cane Island Estates I need to sell. I will sell the first lot for $25,000 firm or make a deal on both, but only one goes for $25K. They are lots 61 & 62 and you can take your pick. This is an awesome area and you can't beat the amenities---all underground utilities, paved, private boat ramp, private sewer plant--no tank needed, and it's gated for security...this is an upscale development that is beautiful. The lots both have a 200 ft bluff behind them, so no development there. Check these out at caneislandestates.com. You can view the plat map and hit the satellite overlay at the top of the plat map for a better view.. Give me a ring at 870-291-5950 if you're interested.....
  7. Your gas hose lining is collapsing on the inside of the line. Cut the hose and you can see it. I had the same problem on my 07 25hp Yamaha. New hose fixed her right up.
  8. If they aren't generating on the Norfork I wouldn't even launch my boat--go down to the confluence and just fish the White...I saw a hoovercraft on the Norfork a couple of years ago---now that thing actually worked, but man it was loud...
  9. They do come by faster than they should, but if a boat comes by at a slow speed it creates a larger wake than a boat on plane. If the boat is not that close I don't have a problem with them coming by on plane, but I guess I don't even notice it because it is the norm around here. Plus, the boat gets out of your way a lot faster, however, it is still pretty rude. I get more pissed when a boat stops 100 yards downstream from me in front of my drift. I could care less if they stop behind me, but stopping in from of a boat is inconsiderate and just plain rude too.. Oh, and we can't leave out the ones that fly up to the ramp in their vehicle to get in front of you and then back down the ramp and load up all their stuff, crank on the motor for 10 minutes, and dilly dally around unprepared...I see this very often. Everything should be ready to go when you back down the ramp...I usually hit my starter and let my motor start for a couple of seconds before I even back down the ramp--that way I know my battery is hot and my motor is going to start...I've witnessed some heated words at the ramp over this issue--especially on the ramps on the lake when it was really hot and there were drunks involved...
  10. If you have never been on the Norfork you need to go with a guide..Rose's and Norfork Trout Dock can help you out there. You can do some major damage to your equipment on the Norfork--I'm sort of a local and a few years ago I bent a prop shaft and cost me about $500. Lower water on the Norfork is a real rock hazzard...hire a guide for safty the first couple of times--it's worth it and could save you money and health..
  11. I have a Shawnee boat for sale with a 48" bottom that is loaded with a rod box, front dry, rear dry, walk thru livewell/storage, bait trays, and aluminum rails. It does have runners in the floor, however, I purchased perforated aluminum flooring from Blazer Boats, so it has the same type of floor that Blazer puts in their boats. It is the best of both worlds, you can take the floor out for easy cleaning while not adding much weight. I have it carpeted, but you can take the carpet off if you wanted to. It has a matching EZ Loader trailer with sharp looking chrome blade rims and a matching spare. The boat has 3 seats (driver seat plus 2 spiders). The seats are all Ranger and two of them are the SAS Commanche VX seats--one is off the Nascar boat and says Nascar on the emblem. I bought this boat brand new and custom ordered it with all these options. The boat has been kept in the garage all it's life except when out to fish--I keep it waxed as well. This setup will cost around $7,500 new. I've got it listed for $4,350 if you're interested. You can give me a call at 870-291-5950 if you're interested. I'll try to upload a couple of pictures if I can, but if I can't I can email you some..
  12. I haven't heard that on Crooked Creek either....is that in the regulation manual on the 9.9 motor limit?
  13. In 1957 Jerry McKinnis was in the Cardinals minor leagues for 4 years. Up until the he had only fished at Montauk for trout, but in the late 50's he raked up $20 for a guided trip on White River and his guide was none other than Forrest L. Wood. He and Wood became friends and McKinnis bought property on the White below Cotter, which I think is where he now lives. He started the show "The Fishin' Hole" in 1963. He once had Harld Ensley on as a guest and at the end of the show they had a 6 pound trout limit of rainbows that weighed 52 lbs. "The Fishin' Hole" used to come on every Saturday morning and ran several years. I think he still works for ESPN or ESPN2 out of Little Rock...but I really haven't seen him on there in a couple of years....
  14. Taxidermist--that color looks great on the Shawnee's. The Shawnee is bullet proof too and will last a long time. Those guys do a great job at Shawnee/Supreme--they're really good craftsman on these boats. Thanks for posting us some pictures of your new boat--next time you go fishing post us some fish pictures in your new boat too. Congrats on your boat choice....
  15. Thanks, did I read on here a while back that you guys might have had starter problems with some of your Yamaha 25 HP's? These starters look like they came off of a riding lawn mower. Pretty flimsy starters compared to an Evinrude/Johnson--Merc's (at least 2 strokes) are pretty flimsy too--you could just replace the end cap on the Merc's and be good to go..
  16. No smell and not much use on it--I've had this happen to a 15 hp Merc too..
  17. I know this post is old, but I have the exact same problem on my 2007 25 hp Yamahaknocker. The brushes are not worn at all and have plenty of wear left on them. I cleaned the brushes and it still does the same thing. Someone told me the starter had a dead spot on the armature and it wasn't the brushes. Any ideas on the problem here? It seems this is a problem with these motors...
  18. Thanks and I'm glad you are pleased with yours too. Little Red will be full of fish right now.
  19. I went to Mtn. Home today and picked up my new Supreme L48XP and it's nothing short of awsome. I can't think of a better Christmas present thanks to Rob at Supreme/Shawnee Boats. This boat has dry storage in the front and rear with a walk thru live well/dry storage in the middle. The pictures don't do the color justice. It has a Copper Penny stripe with a matching trailer. I stapped my 25hp Yamaha on there, so I'm ready to hit the water and I will just as soon as I get a chance. Don't let the cold weather keep you home--the fish still bite--especially trout. If you're thinking about a boat give Rob a call or go to Supremboats.com or Shawneeboats.com. You can check out the different models and options. They do make the best boats out there so take a look if you're in the market--I'm glad I did--I love this boat...
  20. That big extra dry storage is actually a rod box. I have an 8 year old that likes to romp around in the boat. I don't want my Falcon rods to be missing a tip or broken in half, so I had that added--I had the 20+ inch bait trays placed on the sides so I can keep hooks, sinkers, etc. You can also walk on the rod box if you need too--it's that strong. These are sharp looking boats for sure..
  21. That boat looks great. You will love the way this boat handles and fishes on the water--the Supremes/Shawnee's are bullet proof. You can fish 4 people in it no problem too. By the way, did you see my new boat while you were at the Supreme factory? It is the 48XP with the Copper stripe. I'm picking it up this week as well and when I get it I will post some picutres on here for you to take a look at. Rob and his guys builds the best boat out there for sure and he has a great business.
  22. You're going to love the ride and room of the Supreme L48--awsome boats. Congrats and post pictures when you take delivery please--we want to see the new ride..
  23. The weight of the boat plays a very important role in speed and running depth. The fiberglass Supremes and shawnees also contain very bouyant balsa in the hull. The rocker in both also contribute to the boats running in water other boats can't. You can distribute the weight in both and you can't believe how shallow they will run. Also, the plaining board on the bottom of the boats assist in the boat getting up and remaining on plane. Look at the back of the boat and there will be a water channel--this allows water to be funneled to the prop so the motor doesn't cavitate and blow out.
  24. I think 5 yrs, but I'll have to double check on that one..
