  1. Here's a picture and it is a .45 caliber.
  2. I have a Ruger New Vaquero Montado pistol for sale. It has a 3 3/4" barrel, stainless steel, checkered black grips and checkered wider low profile hammer. It has been fired less than 30 times and has the box and all of the paperwork with it. It is in excellent shape and just as soon as I can figure out how to post pictures to this post I will provide them.
  3. I have recently stepped out of the cattle business and I have a 2007 Sundowner Stock trailer for sale. It is 24' trailer with black skin on the nose, 3/4 solid sides and practically brand new. We may have hauled a dozen loads of cattle in it and the tires have no wear whatsoever. Asking 12,500 for it. Retail around 14,500. I will post pictures as soon as I can.
  4. Hmmm... That may have been it, not sure. I will look again when I get back up there.
  5. Hello Sir! I sure hope that all is well in your world. I was in Bass Pro Shop yesterday in Broken Arrow and saw a picture of you in a book they were selling, "fishing the Ozarks" I think. It sure must have been cold when they took it, beard, heavy coat and waders, the whole bit! Anywho, had some time to kill and read what they had about fishing in that area. Good read. Have a good one. Jay Parker
  6. Good to hear! The whole family is up there fishing right now so you'll probaby see them in the shop. Anywho, hope everything else is going okay in your world, looking forward to more hat cam videos when you get some shot! Jay Parker
  7. I sure hope the river is fishing good! The family is headed up there to spend the rest of the week. Anyone have a report on how it is? I read your latest report Tim , didn't know if any rain has come thru since. Anywho, hope all is well in the world of fishermen. jp
  8. Could you please send me some pictures of your trailer? My wife and I are seriously looking for one in the length. My email is jay.parker@okstate.edu. Thanks
  9. Thats awesome!! I'd sure like to see some pictures of those fish! Post them if you get a chance. I sure agree with you about sore fisherman... They can get pretty surly when the fishing isn't going their way.
  10. How did the kids fishing day go?
  11. Where are you out of?

  12. I truly love this site! Really! My wife is a facebook fanatic and along with about everyone else in my little world has been trying to get me to sign up for that crazy stuff just about everyday. The more I think about it though, I really don't have anything to share that any of those folks really give a hoot about! I'd just as soon sit here tonight in Stillwater, OK and write this theraputic blog about finding out just how much I love bass fishing again. I'm an addict again..... For a while when I lived in SE Oklahoma, I lived on a pond bank. Everyday after school I'd gather up my stuff and find the nearest hole of water and fish it till there wasn't a still spot of water left on it! Then.... I got married and moved back to NE Oklahoma and went a while without even thinking about picking up a rod and reel(unless it was in Cassville, MO). Just by accident one day, I was standing at my brothers house and asked him if he had an extra pole I could borrow for a while just in case I wanted to go. 6 rods later, and enough tackle to fish the BASS tour, I found myself trying to find ways out of work, and on some water fishing. Since then, I have fished at least 4 times a week, and my wife, who is due with our first child in November, is just about ready to whip my brother for giving me those rods! Anywho, it just seems amazing to me how much I missed being ANYWHERE fishing. If I had my choice, I'd certainly be at Roaring River, but between trips, I'll fish anywhere I can.
  13. Sure sounds like the river is treating you all real good right now! Pretty jealous to say the least, haven't had an opportunity to go fishing yet this summer. I'm really going to try to sneak up there in the next couple of months, better make it quick though, I have a baby girl that will be here the first of November..... I'm sure we'll make many a C&R trips when she's old enough!
  14. I have had really good luck with plain old maribou jigs that I buy in Tim's shop. Olive with a red collar and black bead head is my favorite, followed closely by a gold bullet headed olive jig with rubber legs that he makes there in the store. Not only have I caught lots of fish on these two, but I have caught several real nice 20+ inch fish with them. I'm np expert to say the least, but I sure believe in jigs nowadays.
  15. Sorry about that! I read that right after I posted.... Anywho, thanks for the reply! jp
  16. Do you still have your coachmen? I sure would like to look at it.
  17. If anyone has an old jon boat laying around hey don't need anymore, I'd sure like to have one. thanks
  18. Do you still have the Champion?
  19. Wow! it's been a while since I've been on. Hope everyone is doing well. Anywho, I have had lots of luck as of late on a small booya spinnerbait...... I have become a spinner bait nut now.... Been having a lot of fun figuring out the fish again, having a little bit of a hard time finding that "honey hole' but I have sure been fortunate enough to fish some pretty fun little ponds.
  20. I have had the opportunity to fish some pretty awesome ponds lately here in NE Oklahoma. Catching a lot of fish on the usual lures.. Spinner baits, worms, shallow running lures and the sort. I forgot how much fun I could have fishing some of those out of the way waters. Just wonderin, what are some of your favorite lures/setups that you like to fish ponds with?
  21. Hey hey! I finally got it to work! Thanks Tim!
  22. Still having trouble..... where are you attaching pics from, attach this file or insert image?
  23. Thats good. Looks like more storms are on their way though. Aywho, a couple of questions, when are we going to see some more hat cam videos and how in the world do I post pictures?!?! Everytime I try it tells me they are too big!
  24. Looks like you might get th edge of some bad weather tonight. Been watching it pretty close here in OK as you might guess. Been very blessed to have missed the brunt of the storms the last couple of weeks. Any flooding at he park?
  25. Thanks a bunch everyone. Couldn't agree more with Gilly. I'll be by ASAP for the rod Tim!
