  1. LOL...I'm pro-choice too! I've let them go and I've ate them. I think shooting someone in the head for keeping a legal fish might be a bit extreme!
  2. Went a couple of weeks ago to Riverside and did well with BH nymphs and egg patterns close to the bottom. Fishing pressure had really let up due to deer season and the cold so you should have a chance for some peace and quiet in that regard. Good luck.
  3. Hey Terry, I've been looking for a group like that here locally. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  4. It's all good. Monette, AR is eight miles from my old house. But I did live in Mount Vernon, MO as well which is darn close to Monett, MO. The inlaws live over in Joplin so that's the deal with all the SW MO streams.
  5. What snail pattern were you using?
  6. Hello All! I'm from a little town in Northeast Arkansas which is Lake City and currently live in Jonesboro. I'm 27 yrs and new to fly-fishing within the past year and have dedicated myself to it with a sort of reckless abandon. My wife thinks I'm crazy. I've always loved the outdoors but always grew bored of typical spin casting. Then a client of mine introduced me to fly fishing. I thought that I'd really like it so I ordered an outfit and began practicing everyday. Then the day came when I finally caught my first trout at Spring River on an dry Adams. I was hooked! I've fished at least once a week since and will go more when my work and family life allow the time. I've fished mainly on the Spring and up in SW Missouri (Roaring River, Capps Creek, Hickory, etc) and look forward to hitting the Little Red shortly. I've read every book on FF and watch every video I can get my hands on. I think this will be an awesome avenue to get to know some new folks that know a lot more about it than me. I'm glad to get on here and look forward to visiting with everyone!
