I fished over Thanksgiving weekend.My son and I both noticed that early in the morning we did much better on walls with the sun shining on them.Also throwing jigs and tubes.
Tried for striper twice that weekend.Got one each time,both in front of fouts.One on a shiner at dusk and one jigging a spoon 25 ft down in the afternoon on a cloudy day.The shad where deep but the fish that I was marking were above them.
Crappie fishing great.Any shallow point with brush extending out to 4 or 5 feet was holding fish.Go figure.
