  1. Gotta side with Tippet on this one Leonard. If I were to see some proof, I might just head down there and bring Jigg with me.
  2. WOW!!! Leonard without a light? Let alone extras! Thats a first!!! Sounds like a great night Leonard. Cant wait to get down there again and fish with the "originator" of the PMS. Dont count me out buddy. Veldon
  3. Mostly a daily lurker but, always a trout bum.
  4. Had a great trip on Tanney last week. Arived on Wednesday and stayed untill Sunday. Fishing was great over all. Met up with Leonard Friday night and Saturday night. What a great guy! I must applaud his patience for teaching, and his skill with a flyrod. This was the second time I've fished with him, and both times were equally enjoyable. He starts out as a guide, but ends up being a friend. Even through my baptismal. Yes, I fell in during the excitement of him hooking into a good fish and needing the net. My feet got hung up in some rocks, and down I went. All was good though, my gear did its job, and I stayed dry. Well, I was going to include a picture of fish but I'll have to figure that out. Thanks Leonard for showing me a great time! Veldon
  5. Hey Bman, I always enjoy your reports. You make me want to be down there for sure! I plan on being there in Sept. and again in Oct. It's hard for me to get there with work restraints and distance but, your posts make it like I'm there. Keep em commin bud! Maybe I meet up with you down there some day. Thanx again!!! Veldon
  6. Hey Catman, I stayed there the first trip I took to Tanney. It is a good place to stay, and right next door to Lilley's. I didnt know about either place then, But if one is booked I try the other. You wont be disappointed. Have fun and enjoy!
  7. I seem to recall seeing a picture of Lee wolf diving head first off a bridge, to prove that full waders will not sink a person. I think it was in Fly rod and reel magazine. If I remember correctly, the theroy was that once the waders were full, the specfic gravity equaled that of the surrounding water. Anyone else see this?
  8. I use it on my bass rods and love it. Like someone else said though, I run a mono leader incase I do get hung up I can break it instead of "trying" to break the fire line. Veldon
  9. We'll be stayin at Phil's. Bringing a boat to cover all the bases. Probably fishin below TRD at night, and driftin in the daytime, or adapt as need be.
  10. Me and a buddy of mine are headed down Thurs. Thru the weekend. Maybe we'll run into you down there. Would be nice to put a face with Duckydoty. Veldon
  11. First time poster, long time lurker. I enjoy reading about fishing Tanney when I cant be there doin it my self. Figgured it was time to sign up so I can ask questions to the experts. Veldon
