    I bought new graph with side view and down image it’s the Garmin 7vs. Had intentions of putting it on the bow. But have heard the side scan doesn’t work well unless boat is moving. Would it be more beneficial to put it on the console and take the down image that’s on the console and move it to the bow.

    Stick with the ugly stick from 97. Two peice can't beat it! But for real, I would buy the falcon buccu. I think lews rods are about as sensitive as a baseball bat!

    I had the same issue with mine a couple weeks ago. It ended up being the 2 dollar rubber boot on the pedal switch easy fix

    The unit on the boat now is a used one. I got it from a guy I work with that was parting a blown motor out. He charged 400 for the unit vs 1500 to have a new gearset put in the old one. The boat seems to shift the same with this unit in as it did with the last one. The motor idles just above a grand.

    I have a 1993 200 horse merc. I just went through putting a new lower unit on it. Had 3 teeth missing off the forward gear. Did not hit anything to cause this damage. I have noticed when shifting into gear it makes a loud thunk. I am wondering if that could have made the old one go out. If so what would cause this to be shifting hard and what do I need to do to fix it.

    I am planning to come down tomorrow morning don't get to fish table rock much. Was thinking about fishing the James river arm will probably put in at cape fair. Any tips hints or suggestions would be much appreciated

    I just bought the Garmin 300c this past sunday.I have only got to use it once so far.I like the unit it was easy to install a decent price and has very good graphics, and has a pretty good owners manuael that will get you fishing quick.The arches this graph shows are very clear and brush piles are also easily seen. But like i said have only used it once and I am pretty sure it will be even better when i learn how to actually use all the options. Hope this helps

    Hey guys I am looking into buying a new fish finder with a Gps system. I have my eye on a 597 Ci Hd Di hummingbird fish finder combo.From what I Have read this is a very good unit.The reviews i have read have been excellent compared to those i have read about the Lowrance system of the same type/price. So i was hoping some of you may have the same unit and could give me some input on it good or bad.Would also like to know what the main differnce between side imaging and down imaging graphs. Thanks and for any input.

    I have a 1989 bass tracker with a 96 40 horse mercury.I have decided to sell the boat instead of trade.The bass tracker is 16ft long semi v with hydraulic steering working live well, trolling motor, and 1 fish finder I replaced the floors and carpet 3 years ago when i bought it and it has been garage kept since.It has a 70lb thrust all terrain minn kota trolling motor.would like 2800 but bring all offers. not sure what it should be priced at

    Was thinking about coming up and fishing tomorrow was wondering ,os their a boat ramp at the blackjack access and is it clear to launch have never been up to this part of the sac any info os much appreciated thanks and good fishing

    Went back on Friday with the old man ending up catching 10 whites good size below the steel bridge white rooster tails and blue swimming minnow.

    I used white and chartreuse rooster tails.I went to Taylor bridge on Sunday did not catch anything went below the Steele bridge and caught three small males on the rooster tails.Then tied on a blue with orange belly storm swimming minnow and caught a good size white on the first cast.

    Put in at aldrich today headed up the river stayed right around the mouth of the river. Caught several whites brought home 6 and 3 crappie.A lot of short males....females should not be far behind

    Was wondering if anyone had anything good to report from this weekend. Was thinking of maybe heading up tomorrow and trying to fish a little if the weather holds.Heard ruark bluff might be worth checking out.Any info is appreciated.. Thanks in advance

    Me and a couple freinds went last saturday.We floated the river from 215 to taylor and caught 13 whites males and females caught the majority of them below the old railroad bridge a little ways. Will be going back tomorrow to try again maybe the bite will be back after this front gets out of here. They do not seem to be as hot as they should i have noticed but who know whats going on alll i know to do is keep going
