  1. Price is $400.
  2. New price. Need it moved out for new gear.
  3. Sadly that has been the case with that lake. Not to offend anyone but just looking at the people who fish it should clue you in. Not sure about the water skiis though.
  4. What camera are you using to take the pictures and the video?
  5. Nice report Kyle. I got nearly the same results as you. Couple hybrids and a few whites. I caught a ton of crappies for some reason though. No shorts at all, every single one topped over 10"+. And on another note...it looks like the topwater action is beginning to roll. Saw more than a few hybrids get pulled in on spooks. It was quite exciting watching a few guys getting their spooks blasted but no hookset. Too bad I only had my soft plastics with me
  6. Met 3 different guys this weekend who all said they have been limiting out all week.
  7. Here is a picture of the actual reel.
  8. Excellent reel in mint condition. Its 1 month old, spooled with 15lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Comes with box, papers, oil, and cover. Purchased for $529.99 at tacklewarehouse. I'm located in springfield, mo. PM if interested. Will also be on tackletour and craigslist. $380 firm I also have a Jackall Poison Heritage rod in nearly mint condition. VCM-CAST 68. Well built and a thing of beauty. $400 firm.
  9. Even with the water low the fishing has been good. Fish the north side. Anything with a little chartruese should be the ticket
  10. will head out this weekend.
  11. With the water warming up, fishing has been picking up...slowly but surely. The crappie are beginning to bite with very good sizes coming in. I caught 12 crappies over 10" and heavy. White bass and hybrids are slow, maybe 1 every 15-20 mins. The walleyes have seemed to move out of their spawning stage, it will be a hard bite if you plan to catch them. The catfishes I saw being caught look less than 10lbs. Have fun out there.
  12. Beats me. From the MDC site: "no person shall continue to snag, snare or grab for any species after taking a daily limit of two (2) paddlefish." Maybe thats why they do it at night? Haha, just kidding guys...
  13. I might try again soon also but fishing last week was pretty decent. It should pick up soon. The walleyes look to be spawning right now and everyone is catching them. If you want walleyes you better head up there quick because the shorelines were just stacked with fishermen. There were a few white bass and hybrids thrown into the mix also. You will catch them, but you wont catch alot. Good luck
  14. Nice fish and props to you for keeping the generations alive. Chris - I'm guessing it was a softbody swimbait slow-rolled through the strike zone. The tailwaters dont seem warm enough yet for them to be hitting aggressively. Just my opinion though.
  15. Smallmouthjoe, I'm certain its the water temp of Springfield Lake. I had the same problem one time with a floating lure that would slowly start sinking. I brought it home and put it in cold water and the lure floated. Then I tested it with warm water and the lure would slowly sink again. and I agree with RSBreth, I try not worry too much about the "pressuring" thing, I'm more concerned with the catch and release part.
  16. Things like limits, no fishing zones, etc. I have never fish the bullshoal's area of missouri before. The only time I have fished down there by the branson area, I remember seeing an artificial lures and flies only sign. Thanks sam, just the info I was looking for. Well do.
  17. Looking to make my first trip down to the Powersite. I'll be scouting from the Powersite Dam to Swan Creek. What are some rules and regulations a new fisherman to the area should know about? Also can someone explain the trout permit even if you're not fishing for trout?

    Heads Up

I'm sure all KVD products will be cleaned out But really, I doubt anyone is going to be buying a $500 reel like a Steez
  19. Wayne, I saw a few small shads washed up on the bank that were half eaten up. I also saw about 3-4 larger shads dying off and floating close to the bank. There were a bunch of seagulls that kept swooping down into the water, but it looks like they were just getting water.
  20. No problem guys, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up to save ya some gas making a trip up there. The water level is low even with them generating. The the water felt like ice water, literally.
  21. Well, for those of you that are itching to do some fishing I had the pleasure of going out today and checking out the dam today. Sorry to say but the water is just too cold for any fish to be active right now, IMO. I saw more than a few fisherman on the shorelines but it didnt look like any of them hooked on to anything. It was a tough bite today, I suggest waiting a few weeks for the water to warm up.
  22. I've been hearing about some pretty nice hybrids being pulled out anywhere from the 4-10lb range. I plan to go up sometime this week or the next. Looks like the COE has also been running good amounts of water so thats a plus.
  23. Man, is there always that many boaters in the water there? That sure is one big crowd.
  24. what area are you fishing at? since you've been posting nice reports i might go out and try. usually fellows lake is always slow and boring but maybe thats because i'm fishing from the shore. fellows doesnt seem to have alot of access points for bank fisherman.
  25. Are you on a boat or on the bank? You been posting some nice reports from fellows.
