  8. That's not a bad thing but those early eighties and older trucks are demanding premium prices for premium often restored trucks. Not a bad time to find one now with people tightening there belts and selling toys.
  9. comments made in bold above.
  10. Now I maybe using a fly rod but my "bait" a lil soft plastic with soft hackle is definitely dipped in flavoring. While being swung threw the riffles of zone three (Bennett) with the greatest of ease.

I'm not much for beat out converters and glass packs anymore. lol Plus couple of ball joints maybe a couple wheel bearings while I am there anyways and it will be a good second vehicle for yard supplies and the occasional fish tank. Was hopping to get a black bed cover off of Craigs list but I'm out of disposable cash. For awhile lol Anyone else in the market see my post about viehix reports.
  13. Gotta truck for my self decided I would offer these up to some one who may need em. send a PM but please be serious about buying so there not used willy nilly. And make your decision on buying carefully these are not the end all or be all. If its not reported they wont know of course. That said it a good tool that will go to waste on July 7th when it expires.
  14. So when did you say the fish fry was?
  15. Before they turn blue from the cold?
  16. I think Ronnie and Ducky use chillidogs for squid deterrent.
  17. Tgard27 I wonder how much interaction you have actually had in the use of the simple tool known as the gun. As in actual shooting experience. Only reason I ask is that most every person I know that has taken the time to learn a few simple safety rules and has become proficient in the use of a handgun, rifle, or shotgun. No longer fears a simple tool. That is exactly the same as any other that it will not just jump in the hand and act on its own. It is unfortunate that you were a victim of a criminal assault and it is not even close to being ok or acceptable that these things happen. It is an unfortunate fact that there will always be predators as long as there is prey. But I feel fairly confident the criminals/tyrants do not prefer unsafe working environments such a places would be detrimental to their retirement plan. There for its my conclusion that their the biggest supporters of gun control. Video link The following quotation is sometimes attributed to Thomas Jefferson: "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one." This is not something Jefferson wrote, but rather comes from a passage he included in his "Legal Commonplace Book." The passage is from Cesare Beccaria's Essay on Crimes and Punishments.
  18. While bears are an issue they are not nearly as dangerous as the two legged variety. More like drug runners, meth labs, and pot farmers or illegal aliens or the coyotes they pay to smuggle themselves across the border. Top 10 Dangerous National Parks While it maybe effective in most situations. I sincerely hope that you can use that spray down wind and don't round a bend gale force wind in your face surprised momma on the way. Could make it hard to see your way back or even if the bear was hit.
  19. Looks like a good idea! Might want to use a size or so larger than normal when creating your own. Every time I have used em they work. (ie catfish) Corner every time even with large live bait for flats. Make sure she is clear about the pull verses the traditional set. And please report back with your/her results.
  20. This just puts a states laws pertaining to firearms into effect in parks that reside inside of the state. Freer the state safer its citizens same as always. Yes they maybe but I wouldn't suggest getting cast in the light as anti guns as a public official. For the most part this will get money put in your opponents coffers. And a serious question of ones ability to make sound rational decisions. IMHO Gun laws and restrictions only effects the law abiding!
  21. This was signed so it will now be law.
  22. The rules for this were already changed following proper channels to allow conformity to state laws in which the national park is located, but a certain "Scaredy Bunch" got a bad(activist) judge to put a block on it on the basis of "environmental impact." The misuse of environmental law buy a group of liars is much worse than anything done here. IMHO It also showed that gun rights are not a bi-partisan issue anymore after reviewing the over whelming support from both sides of the isles on this one. In the senate there was a vote for each part of the bill separately. Then put em back together for executive passage.
  23. Congratulations and well done. Yes, please keep us updated on the team and its events.
  24. Glad I could be of help.
