  1. Can you post a video of tying this fly? That would be so helpful.
  2. I have for sale a wonderful fly tying station that is used by a lot shop owners. It is in great condition and is perfect for any fly tier. I am moving to Georgia and will not be able to take the station with me. This was the best work station I have ever used, and I will miss it a lot. A lot of cool features, including rotating shelves, This fine piece retails for $300 and I am asking $225. Please email me with any questions at tippet7@yahoo.com or you can call or text me at (417) 230-3977. Thanks, Dave Hollmann
  3. So how did fishing go last night. I was going to go, but was too tired at 10:30 pm.
  4. Taneycomo is home for me. 10 minutes from house, and amazing place to fish.
  5. Go down to fly recipes, and Jeremy Hunt shows the easiest way to get a good egg every time.
  6. If there is no generation you can go by the dam. I like to us scuds, midges, and sometimes strip wooly buggers. Just look for some flow in the water, and you should be good. You can fish a lot of place without getting in the water as well.
  7. There is a gas station right by the park that sells firewood. $5 a bundle
  8. Roark is a big waste of time, but Rockaway Beach has some good places.
  9. Welcome to the forum and the area. I will be in shop as often as I can.
  10. PMS is a good fly. I seem to miss a ton of strikes on it though. The mohair leech is more reliable

  12. Welcome to the forum. We used to visit Salem all the time for float trips. Great fishing in the Current there.
  13. Better start building an ark with holes in the side for fly rod fishing

  18. Welcome to the forum. What is the restaurant?
  19. Nice fish. What techniques do you like to use while fishing up in the outlet?
  20. First of all congratulations on a nice fish. I have to say I am pretty impressed. I like to catch big fish as much as the next guy and sometimes I will work for a big fish for an hour or so, but I can't believe you committed 4 hours to that fish. That takes some discipline. I love to sight fish and I can tell you it has nothing to do with placing any hook right over the fish. A fish will make a distinct move towards your fly and eat it or just snub it.
  21. It's your civic duty to tell us all who the famous guide is.
  22. Welcome to the forum. Not a bad addiction to have.
  23. Come on guys. This is nothing more than a Barry Bonds Rainbow trout. It didn't grow that big, it just looks like it.
