Went on a ride yesterday to scout for fishing spots. To my surprise the water at Cricket Creek was slightly muddy. Didn't get a water temp as I wasn't on the water. Long Creek, State Park and Old 86 water was clear.

I haven't been there in a week now, but last time I was there the fishing was tough and almost everywhere you looked there were huge schools of bait fish. I had my cast net with me. I had thought about catching some and using them for bait.

Fished near Beaver Creek on Sat. Water temp just up stream of Beaver was 57 deg and fishing was SLOW. The creek was 67 deg. Cruised the water to K dock on Sun. the water temp was 65-70 deg didn't see any fish being caught.

I was at Beaver Creek on Fri 19th and we caught just a few bass. Compaired to most my outings it was fair to good. Water temp was 70 to 72

I am possibly going to beaver 3/18 3/19, concidered camping? Are the campgrounds even open? If so are they expected to fill up with fisherman?
