  1. The agents/prosecutor are going to have to show prove beyond reasonable doubt of taking/attempting to take. If there is any shadow of a doubt, you should be good. Should be able to beat it. From a special insight........
  2. Awesome report, you ARE the man Tom...Don't fish bass anymore, may have to start again though.
  3. Mike I'll likely go to the TR lake house and just drive up there to fish a day or so.
  4. Mike I may be down that weekend as well. I'll definitely be in touch with you before then. Keep on catchin 'em.
  5. I think i am going to fish Stockton more this year since BS is going to be a crankbait eater. Thanks for the Stockton reports to all that post them.
  6. In the closed compartment they will stay..Not tripping over the things on the deck of the boat. and don't go out on a major lake in a small boat more suited for small waters...that would prevent alot of drownings.
  7. Good report...WM, I'll be fishin' Stockton here in a couple of weeks.. hopefully the pattern holds.
  8. Wow!...That is a good one. The one that hit Bridgeton up here was a classified F4. Lots of damage. Kind of scary that just about every thunderstorm wehad this year has hail and a tornado with it.
  9. I may be down there sometime, soooooooo,
  10. It has definitely been kind of a wierd spawn for them.
  11. Gorgeous fish Phil..She has some great color. Looks like she has quite the belly on her.
  12. 55 to 60, is generally when they start the rush. Of course you have to have some water coming down the creeks (or rivers.
  13. Congrats on your anniversary....Lucky to be a couple who enjoy fishing as much as both of you do.
  14. Thanks Phil for the info, Champ, I wasn't pointing fingers, especially with you. Thats why I said some. Not all, by any means. I feel I do my part in releasing all the big smallies and black bass I catch. Only keep kentuckies here and there. Another conversation we already covered in the past soooooo we good.
  15. Hybrids are a great fish as well, but with them both being such aggressive feeders, I couldn't see stocking both. Guess we'll see what happens? Phil could you give us a little update after the meeting?
  16. You want bass go to Table Rock or Lake of the Ozarks.....Its not always about what the bass guys want. Thats what is bad about the area down there. Southern Missouri could and does in some lakes have PRIME fishing for numerous different species but Dayhem, don't upset the bass guys. So sad. So sad. Thats the difference between other species anglers and BASS anglers. SOME and mean SOME Bass anglers are a WHOLE lot more egotistic (not in an insulting way), when it comes to the species. A majority of walleye guys will go out and catch good fish and release a few and keep a limit for eating. Bass guys go out and admire their catch and release it with a majority looking down on the guys that actually keep a limit of kentuckies which I openly admit I do for eating. Needs to stop or at least ease up some......
  17. Hey Donna, My brother in law fished a tourney up there today, and pulled second (20 and some odd pounds) fishing white spinner baits paralleling the banks. Said they had 15 keepers total plus additional shorts. Something for ya to try.
  18. This cold weather will not help matters, but there will still be a few around. I have caught them as early as the first week of feburary into late may. Alot of it depends on how much cold water rolls in. If the water drops a couple or few degrees for that matter, they may pull out completely and stage again. There are a TON of variables when it comes to a white bass spawn and any other fish for that matter.
  19. The stripers mainly target the large gizzard shad that nothing else really has the mouth or aggressiveness to eat. I know they do eat a few whites, crappies and even a few bass but 22,000 ever other year is really a drop in the ocean. And you have to figure what out of that 22,000 survives. What does everyone think a big black bass or big smallie for that matter targets. Absolutely anything including other bass it can get in its mouth. They make rainbow trout colored swimbaits for largemouths. There is a reason for it. I am a walleye guy first and foremost, but there is absolutely nothing like having big stripers bust the surface in a cove and having them smack topwaters..The force and tenacity of these fish is awesome. I have had fish smoke my large trolled cranks while walleye fishing on BS and just go until I had no line left. Its pretty wild. Its a dog eat dog world under water...Everything and I mean every thing eats everything else and I just think a few more stripers would be cool and I would be good with that. As long as they quit stealing my 800 series reef runners.
  20. Sorry to hear about your motor, dude that blows. The 02 and early 03 optimaxs had a habit of blowing there tops.....I'd call Mercury and see what they got to say. How many hours were on the motor?
  21. They need to stock them in Table Rock....
  22. Thanks for the report Hotdawg.
  23. Go further up the river farther Phil....The fish are there. I know of a couple of limits caught there yesterday .... I was picking up the big sows and walleye last time along the bluff on the right bend above hickory hollow.
  24. Walleye are the only fish I NEVER get tired of seeing come in. Bass just do anything for me (thats just me) no matter how small or large, except for smallies. Luv 'em. Walleye are just a kind of mysterious fish.
  25. Awesome!!!thats a nice first eye......I only foresee one problem. You can't just post the picture of a nice walleye like that and not give any specifics. That just makes people bit their finger nails and wonder.
