Can the average fisherman (meaning those that fish for meat) reliably tell the difference between LM and spots? I know the difference and can still have trouble doing this.

This is great info! Have you tried bottom bouncing with hard baits such as a rapala floating minnow? How do you keep from losing your jigging raps? Seems like they want to hang on everything. Is there a technique to it?

Truly awesome fish! If I caught a fish that size I would be tempted to mount it but can't see doing that to such an incredible animal. Is it legit to weigh it, take pics, release the fish, then have a taxidermist make a model of the fish? They can do that, right?

Great haul! Congrats! Are they still in a spawning pattern? BTW, all the pics I see, and not just these, are sideways. Is it me or does everyone see them the same way?

If your going to fish for walleye be sure to get the White River Border Lakes permit for Missouri. It let's you use your Missouri fishing license on Norfork Lake and Bull Shoals lake in Arkansas. It's only $10 extra and it's good for the whole year.

Bonus walleye, always welcome. And tasty too! Does have the markings of a sauger but the white tip on the tail tells me it's a walleye. Maybe it's a hybrid?

I would call the marinas in the area. Sure some are stocking worms and minnows.

Looked it up, seems CPR is a thing. Looks like it is fairly common in kayak fishing tournaments. Guess this is because there is no place to keep the fish. Interesting, wonder if it will make it's way into other fishing tournaments.

Rainy day in foul-weather gear can be extremely fun or totally miserable. Guess it depends on if the fish are biting. Can you tell which arm is warming faster? Also, your sign off is alarming to me. I'm an RN and CPR means Cardio Pulmonary Resusitation. What does it mean to you?
