Got to Galena at 6 Fri night... IT WAS ON.. Shoals Motel fish almost every jerk landed 17 fish and broke off numerous fish by 8. Went home ate a late supper and headed back around 12:30 first throw hooked up ended up landing 15 fish all out of that same hole went home around 4 a.m. going back tonight sometime

Swan is clearing up nicely.. Was at Galena snaggn spoonie all night last night... your wastn your time trying to catch white red water.. but dude the spoonies were on like Donkey Kong.. I snagged 32 in 6 hrs of snaggn ill post pics later ended up before midnight with an 86#r and a 67#r after midnight kept a 53#r and at 4 this morn got in a 92#. No fishn for this fat boy for a night or two. My back is sore and my side is black and blue but man what a rush

Its back on boys... Last night was in Swan and caught some good fish.. tonight was in slough holler and every cast had a fish on.. Caught some of the biggest sows I've caught in my life, Still hittn on white sliders slow rolln, grey 1/16 oz jigs and minnows . Get out and catch some before there gone.. Still think the fish are just starting. the fish I caught tonite was a fresh wave of fish from the main lake they were almost blueish in color from coming from the deep water

Phil, Really liked you and Bills podcast thats just cool... The white bite is back on in the creek again but so are the people. Caught some fish in the mouth of Swan last nite but heading back to Beaver tonite. Going to get the boat out Sat morn and hit them hidden fish that only a few of us are fishing in the mouth of Cedar.. good consitant bite there still. Hope to see you guys on the water some where this year and shoot maybee even fish together some. Happy Fishn Jeff

Got to Sanders bluff about 6 this evening... people started pulling out at dark and then it was on caught 13 big sows until about 9 then it was done.Smoke sliders, and grape neon buddy of mine caught a 24" walleye and a few short ones right at dark just down from the bluffs

I would put in at Beaver then u can run both ways... whites havent really tuned on toward the dam and Swan yet.. You might pick sum up in the Barker and Johnson holes walleye are still biting pretty good. Beaver is where it is at but be patient...they are biting in spurts and if your there during one of them spurts youll limit out fast

The whites have started biting pretty good over the last couple of weeks here on Bull Shoals, So I figured I had better get this thread started so we all have one place to go to see how their doing. Last week they were on in Beaver, caught fish clear up to Sanders bluff hole on Thur evening but then old mother nature hit and the bottom fell out. Went again Sunday and caught a few fish in Cedar creek but nothing to get to excited about. My brother came down yesterday and we were going to try and grab some suckers up on T-Tables.. Idiots every where, found some fish but the wind decided better then one group of guys with 5 trucks in the group all crossed the creek not once but twice... I'll wait till everyone has forgot about grabbn before I go get me a mess of big Yellas. So we hooked up the boat and fished hard in Beaver, Cedar, Snap, and The Johnson hole think we ended up with 9 whites and a keeper kentucky... better than getting skunked but nuthn to write home about

Got to beaver about 5:30 last night. Come in from sanders side and fished the mud flat just above the big bluffs and just below what we call the (willow hole) by the time the lightning ran us out I had caught 13 white.. mixed bag sows and studs.. Sows are a long way away from blowwn eggs but the are moving up the creek fast. Fished sat and yhey were still on the bend. Happy Fishn

I like to tie a 1/80th oz or 1/100th oz jig with grey marribou tail and a grey chennelle body with a red or pink band of chennelle around the head. Have been using for years and have no problem limiting out on big sows every year

Swan was on tonight... 14 big fish from 5:30 till dark right below the bridge in the mouth. Few fish on gold shinner rouge and the rest on white slider. Dark they shut off but good sign that these fish might bite for a couple weeks.

Went last night at Longs Camp. Allmost a bad night, Went out through the field and the bottom fell out dang near was stuck there but a lot of praying and she come out. Walked down to the corner hole and hooked one and fought with her for a while then pulled out. Guys camping at the ramp had some spoonies tied up to their boat but they wouldn't come oput and talk so just left it at that.try maybe one night this week up by blunk or shoals motel water come up dramatically dad said should have pushed more fish up

Only two fish tonight. Tons of little studs in swan but was fishing where I caught them sows last night. One good size stud on white slider and good sized sow on a grey 1/80th oz. jig flippen the fly rod. Probably will shut off till she warms back up again. Oh-well more time to get my boat going.

Fish tonight off the bank just upstream from Swan. From 5:30 till dark caught 13 and some real nice sows. Hope they're still there tmrw night going to flip the fly rod at them tmrw night weather permitting.

Phil the white have all but shut off in Beaver. I'm glad to see you catching some fish of size also. Got into them last week at K-Dock cove and had some good fish but even those have shut down. Hope this cold front doesn't turn them back to deep water. Remember about 4 or 5yrs ago when the sows come up then it got cold and the studs stayed but the majority of sows blew their eggs on the sand flats in the lake.... hope it aint one of those years. Did catch some nice slab crappie at K-Dock on Sunday morn kinda weird not around brush but on the sand flat. Keep me posted on how your doing and I will do the same since I live in Kissee Mills.
