Last weekend I bought 3 jerkbaits, 2 mega bass vision 110 and 1 6th sense. I used all 3 last weekend then today I used one mega bass and the 6th sense. After fishing about a hour I got snagged on the mega bass in about 12 ft when I freed it up I noticed that it would sink fast. Later I was using the 6th sense and I noticed it was sinking fast. I didn't cast them into anything both baits are kinda transparent and I can see water in them. what would cause this

How's the fishing on this part of the river I'm planning on fishing this area on Monday to be in the path of the eclipse usually fish further up stream never fished this far down the river. I'm going to be bass fishing hopefully smallmouth. Thanks for any info

I fished pomme Saturday caught 3 bass fishing around the campgrounds near the dam all on creature baits. 1 around 4lbs the other 2 less then a lb. fished all day very hard to fish most places if your flipping the edges of the brush your in 20' of water the only places you can really get to the bank is around the campgrounds because the brush on the banks is a lot thinner in the campground. The water around the dam was lightly stained around 2' visibility ran to around Nemo bridge I didn't see a change in the water clarity still slightly stained no debris in that area. I would recommend waiting for the lake to drop at least 10' before bass fishing.

How is the water clarity I'm planning on coming down next weekend. I've seen the lake really high and still clear water in the past. Thanks for any info

I just took a trip to Cocodrie La in October stayed at a place called Tradewinds this place had a restaurant bar and a marina with a boat ramp really nice place really cheap really nice people. Great fishing within sight of the boat ramp I took my 1655 Lowe roughneck didn't have any problem getting around or fishing out of it my cousin used his Towee wished I had a push pull a few times. The first day got a great guide Capt Rob DuPont he put us on trout immediately the then went after some bull reds and black drum had a blast. The next couple days went out on our own found trout early then reds later along the grass they are so much fun to catch like bass on steroids I'll be back. This was my second trip to Louisiana the first year I fished out of myrtle grove north of Venice seemed like a lot of private areas that you can't fish and a lot more fisherman and more expensive. I know there are charters for tuna out of Tradewinds I seen them come back with some big fish

I replaced my hubs on my boat trailer after I installed the hubs I pumped grease in each new hub one hub will not except any grease does anybody have any tips on how to fix this. I've seen a tool that pumps a light viscosity oil through the zerk fitting but I have not seen it used on a trailer hub. Thanks for any info

Has anybody ever used the KSD Rod sleeves. What's your opinion on these sleeve they seem very affordable but I can't find any reviews on them and I can't find a picture of the tip any info would be great. Thanks

Yep sounds like a thermostat issue to me had the same issue a few years back sucked a bunch of stuff up out on the river then the motor would sound a alarm at full throttle then shut itself down but would start right up and only run just above idle which made for a long ride back to the boat ramp. I just got back from Louisiana my cousin just bought a new boat that we used to fish for redfish. While motoring through some really shallow water his motor started over heating after clearing the intake it was pissin fine the motor ran fine the rest of the trip. when we got home he took it out when running at full throttle the motor would start to cut out and the check engine light would come on. He took it to get it looked at and it was the thermostat.

3 Years ago me and my dad went down to Branson on one of those Bass Pro Shops time share deals it was September and kinda hot we fished Table Rock the first day and hardly got a bite. The second morning we were down there we had to do the time share tour after the tour we headed for the Bass Pro Shop at the landing to spend all the gift cards they gave my dad after the tour. While walking the boardwalk along the lake to the Bass Pro we started noticing bass right next to the rock bank facing the bank a bunch of them and nice ones so we decided to put in at Rockaway and went up lake a few miles and stared fishing the creeks we caught some nice bass in the creeks and in the grass along the banks on frogs on the way back we went up bull creek and the bass were busting bait fish everywhere we caught fish on nearly every cast till dark. The next day we put in at Cooper creek and headed for the landing we caught several bass around the restaurants and the shore. While in Rockaway Beach I went into the Taneycomo market I seen some pics of some big bass.
