Associated Press SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - A Wisconsin man says he has his fingers crossed and he's saying his prayers as he waits to find out if the buck he shot last week is a world record. Michael Gregoire of Sheboygan Falls took the deer with a bow and arrow Thursday on his brother's farm just west of Sheboygan Falls. The 12-point buck weighed 240 pounds and the rack has been unofficially scored at 217 5/8 inches. A 60-day drying period must first pass before an official score is granted. The Boone and Crocket Club Web site says the world record for a typical whitetail rack is 213 5/8 inches, shot with a rifle in Canada in 1993. The state record is 206 1/8 inches. Now, all Gregoire can do is wait for the day drying period to elapse and for three licensed, random scorers to render their verdict. Had this for dinner last night....thought I would share the recipe with all of you. 2 lbs. skinless pan fish fillets 10 ounces of asparagus spears 1 can of celery soup 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese...grated 2 tablespoons crushed toasted almonds 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon pepper Sprinkle both sides of fish with salt and pepper.Cook asparagus and drain.Place 3 asparagus spears on each fillet and roll up.Put a toothpick in each one.Place roll-ups on a buttered baking dish.Combine the soup, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and pour over the roll-ups.Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and top with the almonds.Bake it at 350 degrees for 25-39 minutes until the fish flakes.

Found this on the net a few years ago and thought this would be useful to anyone not knowing how to fillet pan fish. Not sure where the source was taken from.

Phil's request... This thread is ongoing, never quits,is funny, can make you cry,yet be inspiring, ridiculous ,and can make some older individuals lose their teeth in laughter(or in a river).Photos, cartoons and captions too.It can make sense or no sense at all.It can lead to many streets or foreign countries to far away waters and mysterious lands. All are accepted in this never ending ongoing story thread.Add a little or add a lot.How much imagination do you have? HOW DOES THIS WORK? Funny how you should ask.. Ah...you see...it is left for the NEXT PERSON TO ADD TO! ..it always starts out with a story line and is left off with( my," "your," "his," "her," "its," "our," "their", "and","the," "a," "an""is","or","to" ) so someone else can add to it.Example... The big fish jumped out of the water and scared the heck out of all of the> ***ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING TO ADD.PLEASE TAKE YOUR SIGNATURES OFF THIS THREAD!!! THEY ARE WAY TO CONFUSING TO READ THROUGH!!***ALSO....WE WON'T TOLERATE OBSCENE PICS.....VULGAR LANGUAGE....OR BASHING...NO EXCEPTIONS. So let's get this" NEVERENDING ONGOING STORY THREAD"...............................................GOING!

Got tied up at the boat ramp this morning for over an hour because a family couldn't load their boat properly! Kinda wish someone would teach people how to load and unload their boats! Maybe a "How to" and "How not to" video???? It happens every year... Sorry....I HAD TO VENT SOMEWHERE!

Here's a link that explains Bamboo and how the condo's are made and where to sink them.I'll also post up other links I can find that could be useful to those wanting to experiment. I heard PVC lasts way longer in fast moving current if used in a river system and Bamboo lasts a long time in a lake or in shallow reservoirs. http://www.actionfishingtrips.com/habitat.htm
