We had a great day on Stockton1 Using the info we've gathered over the last " months " We were able to have a great day! We had a bag full of fillets. Walleye with the 'slow death rig'. Crappie on the brush piles on minnows Thanx to Bob Bennet for getting us going in the right direction! We were out of Crabtree and didn't get past the bridge walleye on points and crappie on marked brush piles provided great fun

We ran into the 32 road block last weekend. The end result was we found RT 39 at Cedar Springs ( 7 miles east) of El Dorado Springs was a better route. We had a great 2 hours of fishing Friday evening. Returned to same spot 24 hours later NADA!!??

Great report. Lightning from those crazy clouds sent us in about 9:00AM Over the weekend we had a half dozen nice crappie. When I cleaned them I was puzzeled at the remaining egg sacks. Not huge, but not small either??? Any ideas Straw Hat??? Did the crazy weather etc cause havoic with the spawn?

I have been lurking for months and I am greatful for the information. My dad and I built a cabin at Shell Knob before they built the bridge and loved the time spent there until you had to take a # to fish a bank. They also seemed to be putting BIG boat docks for BIG boats on my favorite spots. We sold out in 2000 mainly because of interest in training, competeing and hunting pointing labs. My wife has taken over that program at our kennel located near Rogersville. We will have our RV parked up at Stockton until at least fall. We hope to get set up in time to catch some of those crappie. Again, I appreciate the great reports and lack of criticism on this forum
