    Okay, I've read thru all the post and agree that this is one of personal choice, casting style, and thickness of your wallet. From what I've read most like the RIO or SA. I'm looking at buying new line for my old reels and some new reels as well. One question, has any tried, read about, or know anything about the Cabela's Prestige® Plus™ Multi-Tip Fly Line? If it does what it says, it seems to be a good alternative for having multiple lines. Thanks in advance for you help. [click on the line name for a link to it's website] John

    I like the Griffith's Gnat and the Renegade. You can't beat them. I also have a supply of Elk Hair Caddis, Adams, and Cracklebacks at hand as well. Oh, and don't forget the Mosquito! John

    I don't know Terry . . . instead of a .45 across the bow, how about just under the water line? That way you don't have to worry about where the slug comes down at. John
