  1. Update as of 27 Nov 2006 Recieved Zach's, jOrOb's, and Okieflyfisher53's today. As of today, and we still have some coming in, we have collected 59 dozen fly's, 10 fly boxes, and 29 spools of tippet, plus various other items. This does not include the kind donation LMW made. I'll post a complete list of items, with pictures, when we are finished and it is in the mail to the troops. Thanks, and a hardy pat on the back, to all involved. Job well done! John
  2. I vote for the FOOLS! John
  3. They have priced the average guy out of going to the games and now it looks like they are trying to price them out of watching it at home. I'm agree with everyone else. I refuse to pay to watch a game at home. That will just mean more time for me and the family to enjoy the outdoors. John
  4. Thanks Rolan for taking the time to share this skill with us. I'm looking forward to the class. John

  7. There's a list of fly's on the first page of this thread that they can use. Let me know what you're going to tie and I'll add you to the list. Thanks . . . John
  8. You might try the stick on type eyes on the wool head. Use a buring type tool to make an indention in the wool and then use "goop" to cement it down. You might also look at using the bead chain type of eyes as well. Hope this helps. John
  9. Excellent fish! Now I KNOW I have to get back down there . . . and soon! John
  10. It's not a true sculpin pattern but I've used a wool head leech for the same and I've had pretty good luck with it. I use olive/brown magnum rabbit strips for the body and brown wool for the head. Here's the link to the website for the pattern www.warmwaterflytyer.com John
