    Tent

Nice pic! I love the tent camping. The wife and I just bought us a new tent last year and have retired the slide-in cab over until the colder weather hits. We use the Coleman roll-out sleeping mats and get a good nights rest. They are only about an inch thick but feel like six! Of course, the back is still okay with me but I know my days coming. Sue, my wife, works at Nu-Wa in Chanute and I keep telling her she needs to tell them to keep her check and just give us one of those! Dano - try the rollout mat, they really do work! John
  4. Jr.'s looked great so far, but I'm curious to see if he can hold up for a full length race. I'll be watching with great expectations. John
  5. Good Looking young-un Ducky! Glad to hear that all is well. John
  6. Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Jeremy for the newest addition of fly recipes. They all look great and I'm getting ready to hit the tying table as I write. It's great to see you back on the tying site and I look forward to your next addition. Thanks again . . . John
  7. Happy Birthday Don! And; Leonard . . . .age = treachery! Paybacks will come when you least expect them John
  8. I've had moderate success with the wooly, but, it's not my "go to" fly by far. I've found the best success for me is to strip it back in like a streamer. I'll mix up the retrieve with a long strip followed by a pause then two or three short strips followed by another pause. John
  9. Dano, I'm planning a trip on Monday as well. Hope to meet up somewhere. I'll probably start up by the store and work my way down. I'll be in a Blue Jeep Liberty. John
  10. Thanks Leonard! I'm only 29 . . . and holding John
  11. I would agree with Dutch. Seems like a "ban" issue of some type. You might check with "your people" and see if they have some setting in place that keeps him from seeing the site. John
  12. Glad to hear everyone is okay. I was worried about them. Thanks for the update. John
  13. Glad to hear she's going to be okay. That looks terrible! John
  14. Dano - PM sent with my cell number. I go into work tomorrow if more EMS is needed give me a call and I'll see about getting some ALS ambulances from us headed that way. John
  15. Happy Birthday! Hope it's spent on the waters with fish on! John
  16. Glad to hear about the expansion. The wife and I will see ya on the 16th! John
  17. I agree with the others - do what you think is best. I don't mind waiting if someone has forgotten the deadline or had more important issues come up. John
  18. OUTSTANDING! Congrats to you and mom! John
  19. I can't speak for the rest of the group; but the extras are for your time and effort in hosting the swap. John
  20. Jason - Have you received mine? Maybe you could update the list and show the one's you've received? John
  21. SE Kansas (Erie) checking in. Made it through with just heavy winds and rain. Was out on the Ambulance through the worst of it. Glad to hear everyone is okay. HFD - LOVE the icon! John
  22. They look good! Have you had them in the water yet? John
  23. Very Nice! John
  24. Congrats on the start of a new adventure! Hope to make it down that way soon and I'll stop by and intro myself. Welcome to the site! John
