  1. Present and accounted for! I had a very bad night - stayed up all night watching for the pending disaster! I just new it was coming, but alas the dawn brought a new light and all has returned to the way it should be. John
  2. I'm in! I can do a #14 Elk Hair Caddis. John
  3. My schedule is a bit funky, to say the least. I work 24 hours and then I'm off for 48 hours. With that said, I'm up for a meet if my schedule allows. Pick a date and I'll see what happens. We're also down a couple of medics and with vacations, it may be a bit hard for me to fit in, but I'll sure try! John
  4. Well said Terry! I concur 100%. The idea of a swap, as I see it, is to share your talents (standard or sub-standard) with other's who enjoy this aspect of our sport. I also think it's a learning adventure to try and tie the best you can and to see what other's are doing as well. I'll freely join any and all swaps that I can and keep/fish all flies received. And I include myself in the novice category of fly tying. Just my 0.02. John
  5. I don't know if that helps Bill, but it sure answered a lot of questions I had. Thanks for the info, I'll put it to go use for an amateur photographer. John
  6. "I cannot confirm nor deny that!" "I do not recall." Lets see . . . have I missed anything?
  7. No worry Terry . . . I go by "Papa John" when I run in that circle. John
  8. I still have part of a quart jar in my fridge left over from New Year's Eve. I'm scared to try it now since it's set in there so long. Maybe I should get it out and try it. I've heard that 2006 was a good year. I work in an Italian community and my boss has connections. I shouldn't have any problems rounding up a bottle for the get together. John
  9. Sounds like they are at least trying to move in the right direction. I hope it works out. John
  10. Terry, I'll see if I can wrangle up a bottle of some Dago for ya. That's some darn good stuff. A little can go a long way! John
  11. Good story Terry. I laughed and cried all at the same time. Mostly, because at one point or another, just about everyone of those has happened. Can't wait for the next installment of . . . . Troutman! John

  17. No worry; I just thought you were using your TU calendar again Sorry, I couldn't make it. I've been wanting to try that particular stream, but just haven't been able to work it out. Maybe next time. Don't forget to share the results? John
