  1. Hawker Point launch still has some packed snow on it. Lake was open in the area with a water temperature of around 44F. The Hartley Launch at the Stockton State Park was clear and usable, as was the launch at Roark and Greenfield Landing on CC highway. I did notice some ice in the shallow areas at the CC bridge and the water temperature was lower (42F).
  2. I have caught many over the last 15 years, especially on the Turnback and Son's Creek arms. They seem to like rocky banks.
  3. I would like to thanks everyone that gave information to KCbear. I had the same question myself. Has anyone started picking up any blue cats on the flats? Has anyone seen any sign that the shad die-off has begun? Just to let you know; My wife and I have been catching fair numbers of crappie from 30 to 40 feet deep (minnows) VERY light bites. Some bass from 20 to 25 feet. Walley have been very poor lately. We have been fishing steep rocky drop-offs. Fishing has been much better on sunny days. Fish haxe been exceptionally deep on cloudy days.
