I like all War eagles! For the river my go to spinnerbait is a 3/4 oz double gold willow leaf number 5 blade for the big one in high river murky water situations, I've caught a bunch of nice smallies on this. You need big tackle to horse this bait around but it works well. Slow roll it off the bottom like a jig or just steady reel. I'm not sure there is a better big fish bait when the conditions are right.

There is a fishing video game for the WII you can play until the end of next week I would take you out but im tied up for 2-3 weeks

I think the biggest problem is our lack of good intelligence, which was proven by the fact that the compound OBL was found in had no phones, televisions, or any electronic devices. You would think the USA could have figured out the Paki's were deceiving us long before now and would have been able to do something long ago. The compound was 100 yards from a paki army depot. Pervez Musharraf's angry response to the operation was another reason that shows how out of touch we were with the situation.

First and last are me the first is a 17" plus spot on the lower Meramec, , the second is my buddy Dan with a huge smallie on the gasconade in the trophy section Third is Zipstick, he catches one like this every week! last is a nice fat 19" on the lower Meramec will post more later in the post CUZ I JUST FOUND OUT BIN LADEN IS DEAD!!!!!!!!!

Anytime you catch a 6lb LMB and a 19" Smallmouth in 1 day is a great day! not to mention the beautiful woman!

Understood..... if my my child were killed by some moron, I would be after their head, legal or illegal. There are just as many legal bums in this country as are illegal. A friend of mine took a concealed carry class not long ago and told me I wouldn't believe the people who are carrying guns now. Just don't assume it's such a small group anymore. I hope it never gets to the point where we have to pack heat when we are on a family canoe trip.
