I use 8lb on my spinning rods, 10lb on my baitcaster. I havent had any issues with breaking fish off so far.

I am gearing up for night fishing the southfork river and next month CC. I think the fishing will be phenominal.

Around here, when people say a river/creek is to low to float they usually mean without getting out. Southfork resort hasnt rented canoes upstream from their location for a month but two weeks ago I only had to get out two times. I fish whatever is nearest to me.

we use milk to soak fish in. I am going to do some catfishing this weekend in a hole on the southfork river at moko. It is incredibly deep, 20ft in one spot!! I cannot explain why it is so deep but it sure is.

yesterday we floated hammond to sunburst and we saw about 10 stripers in a group just above mckee bridge. Every one of them was 24"+

Riverton to the narrows has catfish if anywhere has them. The white river has lots of places like sloughs in the trailrace where the water is warmer.

Pettits' and dawt charge around $25 to shuttle. I have used both this year. Prices have gone up since last year. A good 1.5 day trip would be hammond camp to dawt mill. The first few miles are warm water but after that trout all the way down.

I agree 100%. Potheads arent the problem here, people using heavy stuff like crack and meth and even worse stuff are.

I think it is a step in the right direction, and hopefully the case workers will use good judgement. Jack, you must not have ever met a drug addict. drug addicts will use whatever money is available to them to get their drugs. there doesn't need to be a study.
