Fished over the weekend on Taney.

We stayed at Lilley's.

Fished up at Fall Creek on Saturday, boated close to 150 fish over the course of the day. Fishing chartreuse and white power bait/power eggs.

We really enjoyed the wind and snow, but we were catching fish, and had a great time.

No water generation either.

Fished up at the dam Friday afternoon, caught a couple of nice rainbows on #18 zebra midges under an indicator.

Snowflake, Hope you were kind and cut off lots of hooks. PB is a great way to catch a limit of fish in the bait area of the lake, but is really hard on tender tummy's. If you make them bleed they are pretty much history. The area you were fishing is fantastic for sculpin micro-jigs under a float. You will continue to catch loads of fish and will do them little harm. Good Luck.

Bill, I was using a straight hook with a chartreuse egg and white egg on it. I was very pleased that I didn't have but 2 swallow the hook, and I kept them.

All the rest were hooked in the sides of the mouth, a lot nicer than the treble hooks.

I am not familiar with the area, so where exactly is Fall Creek from Lilley's?

Up stream from Lilley's it starts the trophy area. This time of the year the Fallcreek area can yield some very nice Rainbows. You can not miss it there is a huge sign.

Fall Creek is about 1.5 miles upstream from here (Lilleys). We are about 1/2 mile up from Cooper Creek Access, 4 miles up from downtown Branson.

A buddy and myself fished Taney 2/7 - 2/9 and we caught a LOT of fish. We're both novice fly fisherman, so we did the standard 1/64 oz. jig below a cork (ginger, olive/ginger, and red & white). We stayed up above Fall Creek and caught between 60-100 per day. Nothing giant but we did catch some nice ones and we had a great time. Stayed at Lilley's Landing--SUPER FOLKS AND A VERY NICE/CLEAN/AFFORDABLE place to stay!!!
