Members RonS Posted February 29, 2008 Members Posted February 29, 2008 What would be some of the choice colors to use for walleye and whites day and night ?
Dutch Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Phil I tried the line and only saw gobblee gook.

Trav Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 The blue with pearl looks like a good bait for Taney. What are the reports on color success Phil? "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 29, 2008 Root Admin Posted February 29, 2008 Boy there's alot of color variations and conditions- it'd take a book to list them all. Blue is always good for whites. But the standards are smoke, chartreuse, motor oil and purple. The latter two for walleye, with red specks.
Trav Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 I have never gone wrong in Taney with blue. It is my go-to color. Even if its just a smidge of blue. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
slider Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 WE HAVE BEEN USING THE GARLIC DIP-AND-GLO AND DARKENING OUR SWIMMING MINNOWS AND BEETLES. THE GARLIC SEAMS TO MAKE THEM BITE A LITTLE BETTER. MY NEPHEW AND I WERE AT WARSAW ONE TIME USING PEARL SLIDERS WITH A WHITE TAIL WE DIPPED THE TAIL IN CHARTRUSE AND CAUGHT FISH. MINE HAD WORN OUT SO I HAD SOME PEARL WITH A NATURAL CHARTRUSE TAIL SO I PUT IT ON AND DIDNT CATCH AS MANY FISH AS WITH THE DIPPED TAIL. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE SENTED DIP-AND-GLO? HAD WONDERED ABOUT THE BAITFISH SENT. SLIDER DONT EVER GIVE UP MOSES WAS A BASKET CASE ONCE!
