There are 2 Sac river arms. When are you going to be there and what do you expect to catch?

I'm not really sure, I'll be out of another guy's boat that we tow from his farm near Walnut Grove. I'd like to go after bass, but would enjoy bluegill just the same

I would think your best bet with a fly rod would be white bass. Not to mention that would be a great fight on a long pole. They should be getting ready to head up the Sac here shortly.

I'm ready to try some whites and crappie on the fly. I hear the Little Sac can get pretty crowded when the whites start running. I'm curious about getting out the maps and putting a drift boat pontoon in the Son's Creek area during white and crappie time this spring. Anyone done that yet?

Thanks.....Don May

I caught you a delicious bass.

When the whites are looking for spawning grounds they will take just about any bait you put in front of them. Good colors are white/chartreuse/silver/red/orange/black/purple just to name a few.
