shawncat Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Pastor,when the waters rising in the springs i tend to fish the upper holes[spring to the bathroom hole] I think they stock those holes a little better,not so much down toward the lower bridge[for fear of the river rising,thus flushing the fish out straight down river]This of course is my humble opinion. Seth Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Good luck and I agree with Dano on the having the time and not going makes your crazy. If you can get in around the bathroom hole on the bluff side, you will catch some fish. That spot had the most fish in the whole stream I would guess, as well as the most fisherman. Being that you are going on a Wednesday, it shouldn't be very crowded compared to this past weekend. Good luck and catch a big one.
flyfshn Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Pastor, Sunday I walked past the bridge at the end of the park and turned right (up stream) and fished there because it was crowded. Water was a little murky, but the fish were biting! During the week, it should not be crowded, so I would follow Shawncat's advice! Good luck!! If I didn't have to work, I would be there! Fish On! Members Pastor Posted March 10, 2008 Author Members Posted March 10, 2008 The Drive Wed. morning was beuitful. There was plenty of snow from Farmington on until just about a mile from the park where it just about vanished. Fishing seemed a little harder than normal. We caught a few and I lost one about 7 are 8 pounds. "I did not feel like carrying him around any whay" ha ha ha. The stockers faught a lot harder than they usually do so they were all a lot of fun.
