I'll take my chances with my Ranger. EVerybody tells me it's unsafe and blah blah blah. If it was that unsafe, why would they let people drive them?

I take it slow and easy going down the road and am always driving defensively and I've not had any close calls yet. My life is worth the extra bit of driving time and the extra caution to make it from point A to point B alive and well. It's working great so far.

I work for a Ford,Dodge and GM dealer and if you are looking for a 1/2 ton truck go with a Ford and get a 5.4, to me that's the only way to go. Also i do not work on the sales end. I work in the service and body end of things. In a 1/2 ton truck the Ford is miles ahead of the rest!!!! "From experience" you will be alot happier with it. Unless you are looking for a 3/4 or 1 ton truck?
