Seth Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 I'll take my chances with my Ranger. EVerybody tells me it's unsafe and blah blah blah. If it was that unsafe, why would they let people drive them? I take it slow and easy going down the road and am always driving defensively and I've not had any close calls yet. My life is worth the extra bit of driving time and the extra caution to make it from point A to point B alive and well. It's working great so far.
FishinCricket Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Q: If it was that unsafe, why would they let people drive them? A: The almighty $ But who am I to say anything, I drive a Geo Tracker! I don't think it even has air bags.... cricket.c21.com
Members Dumb to fishing Posted July 15, 2008 Members Posted July 15, 2008 I work for a Ford,Dodge and GM dealer and if you are looking for a 1/2 ton truck go with a Ford and get a 5.4, to me that's the only way to go. Also i do not work on the sales end. I work in the service and body end of things. In a 1/2 ton truck the Ford is miles ahead of the rest!!!! "From experience" you will be alot happier with it. Unless you are looking for a 3/4 or 1 ton truck?
