Fishing Buddy Don House Posted April 10, 2008 Fishing Buddy Posted April 10, 2008 Guy's, wow what a day put in at State Park motored over to the Bell put down the T-Motor and started fishing. Hour went by and nothing, then bang someone turned on the fish! We had two over 2 pound within 5 mins of each other then the big guy hit my grub 5 pounds 2 ounces by the Chat on the Lake. Kept fishing and a few more smallies in the 2 - 3 pound range, having fun at this point. Then a phone call from Mr. Philip Stone telling me to get over to Kimberling City, so off we went and that was the right move, we had 10 fish in over 20 mins all on a White and Chart Spinnerbait, nothing under 3 pounds with a few 4's and 5's pound blacks mixed in the bag. The day was just great, kept catching more fish all very nice and really fat and loaded with shad big time!!! Another Phone call it was Phil again, he ask me if I had my camera and he was on his way to meet us with a 7.4 pound black what a fish, we had just left him and watched him put back a good strong 5 plus.. All in all a day that I will never be able to replace, just could not believe it... Guys they are up and eating very well, time to get out there. Hope this rain coming will not hurt this bite, but I bet it will.. Here are the pictures of today feeding frenzy... Stoney, your pictures are on their way!! Good Fishing Everyone Capt. Don Capt. ozarksfishin Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Thanks Big Don!! Just hopes this bite carries over to this weekend in the Heartland. The trout saved the guide's butts for a while, but the bass are finally bitin! Holler at me tommorow Don, we will see if we can do the same as we did today. Guys, like I told Don today, I have fished Table Rock for 30+ years, and this is as good as I have ever seen it. This is the way Table Rock used to be in the 80's and early 90's. Good luck to all! S&M Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 All I heard after the big rain with the super high water levels, and super stained water color, was how messed up the fishing would be. I just knew it was going to have the opposite effect. The water level and water color has been a HUGE blessing to Table Rock Lake. Great pictures of the fish caught, brings a smile to my face knowing the enjoyment you had catching them. Mike, How do I deal with those who ignore the 50 yard encroachment rule?......I show them just how accurate I am with a crank bait!
Members Jackie D Posted April 10, 2008 Members Posted April 10, 2008 Great Catch guys! We had a great day also. We never got that real big black though. Did have a few pull off that were giving me lots of trouble but never saw them. Jackie D. Jackie Davis Davis Brothers Guide Service Visit my site @ http://BassProFishingGuide.Com
