The floodgates first opened at 4 a.m., the Corps reported. The floodgates will release water at 13,000 cubic feet per second, Hiser said. With the generators running, the amount of water released will be equivalent to nine to 10 generators, he said. At 1 a.m., Norfork Lake was at 579.81 feet and Bull Shoals Lake was at 688.25 feet, according to Corps information.

The floodgates first opened at 4 a.m. and opened one foot each at 6 a.m., the Corps reported.

The 12 floodgates will release water at 30,000 cubic feet per second, Hiser said. With the generators running, the amount of water released will be equivalent to 11 to 12 generators, he said.

At 5 a.m., Norfork Lake was at 580.83 feet and Bull Shoals Lake was at 688.76 feet, according to Corps information

They have had to open the gates more at 8 am they say its the equivalent of 15 units on now.My house is about 100yards from the water but some houses on Mallard point have water to the foundations

I just called the dam line and they say it is equivalent to "18 additional units" Whew doggies!!!
