dwiebenga Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I have been reading that many of the guys are using chartruse blades. Is it possible to heat a blade up and use powder paint to dye it the color. Or is the water clearing enough that it is not necessary and gold or silver will work.
Bill Babler Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Right now, I really don't think it matters, unless you are really fishing some muddy stuff like up the Kings. It is all clearing fast. Last night I had great success on a chrome willow and a small colorado in the Baxter area. In the really muddy stuff, I would have probably thrown a chartruse skirt with a copper or a chartruse blade. Most of the muddy stuff will be gone by either mid-week or next weekend, if it dosen't rain. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
