Members Hersh
Just wanted to say a "Hello" to everyone here. Been visiting this site and decided to become a member today. I live in east central Iowa and fish for Smallies from Northern Minnesota to Nothern Arkansas. Run a Ranger/Opti for the larger lakes, a Lowe RoughNeck/Mercury for rivers and for the small rivers in the northeast part of Iowa I run a Mokia Jet boat. My wife and I were lucky enough to get early retirement so we spend four to six weeks at Table Rock Lake each spring and fall. Mid summer we go to northern Minnesota and stay with a buddy of mine at his lake home. We have to say our favorite area is the Kimberling City location. We stay on the Aunts Creek arm and I fish the James River part of the lake. Right now here in Iowa we have hard water. Cut a few holes last night, had 6" of ice, but only two Blue Gills to show for it. Normally we would have 20 plus inches of ice this time of year. It's been a strange winter for us. Again just wanted to say hello to everyone. Hersh

Members TexomaOkie
It was 90 on Tuesday and 97 yesterday here at Ada, in southern Oklahoma! No fires, but lots of HOT wind. On the positive side, the warm weather has made for an earlier spring bite in the large ponds and watershed lakes in our area. Fished a 10 acre watershed Tuesday afternoon and had a blast. Caught several nice largemouths up to a fat 6lb.+ beauty caught by my dad. Not bad for a guy that will soon be 80 years old! Plus, I had the pleasure of netting it for him.
