Members Bassman755
I am looking for guides that do a fair amount of fishing up the white river arm and/or around the shell knob area. How can I obtain this information. Thanks.

Bill Babler
Any of the guides that post on this site will and have worked the SK area, including Capt. Don. See him up there all the time. Lots of the great local guides that don't post here, also work the area if need be. We all know the entire lake. I just happend to have lived at the Knob for 15 years. Everyone thinks its my hidey-hole. Any of the Boy's will do you good, I don't believe you can find a bad one. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Fishin' Freak
I have had the opportunity to fish with Bill up the White River near Shell Knob and he knows that area of the lake without a doubt. He will put you on fish.

Trav
Since this thread has the attention of Rock Guides, Let me ask you something. Or better yet , confirm what I am thinking. Since the water has been soo high for soo long, I would assume the extra rain should improve the fishing. Would that be an accurate assessment? "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Fishing Buddy Don House Posted April 24, 2008 Fishing Buddy Share Posted April 24, 2008 Trav, best I can tell you is day to day.. I fished this morning and had a few shorts on a grub, one good keeper, but then had to leave.. Buster Loving told me he had some also with 3 keepers, so it just keeps changing.. All we can do is go out and beat it up everyday.. I would say the more it floods the farther back these fish can get in the woods.. Spawn may be fun, once that is over they will move back out to deeper water and then the fun really starts.. Good Fishing Capt. Don Capt. Trav
Thanks Don Am going to be at Campell Point for the whole week between the 5th and the 9th. This is an annual outing I try to take just to get off Taney during the spring. Sounds like it could be bust or boom.. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P.
