denjac Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 Ran down to long creek this morning. Fished where I thought they should be and where I didnt think they would be. Not a bite. Found lots of fish stacked up behind the first row of trees 7- 10 ft. Thought that was them but no takers. I give. Went back to the Indians and jerled up a few drop shot fish 20 - 30 ft all short. Wasnt a good day for me and it was a little chilly this am. Some of the points were a little crowded but just bulled in there with the rest of them. Plenty of water for all. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo.
