I noticed my deadline has passed and I havent recieved anything yet>There was a small note that said poss 2 weeks.Just wondering if im being to antsy.I have never in the last 23 years had this much trouble making bills.Im afraid we are in a serious recession.I know that this money wont solve my problems , but I sure am glad its coming as I need to replenish, even if nominally, my liquidity.And no Trav , liquidity aint bud lite.

As a recovering economist, I can tell you guys the ONLY way this thing is going to work is if people spend thier checks. Go buy some new rods maybe some shoes for the wife. GDP = C+I+G+X (consumption , investment, government spending, net exports). Times are hard right now, but they are going to get even harder if we don't increase spending. F.Y.I. we had positve economic growth the last 3 months so we are no in the big R yet----

Who would have ever thought that buys some expensive rods and reel would be good for the economy!!!

Theres one wrinkle in this I just found out perusing the lovely and informative IRS.GOV, if you did direct deposit, BUT had the fee for E-filing deducted or did rapid refund, your moola will be mailed. No new Bell canoe for me this weekend, and that's very unfreakingly unstimulating.

I fish Sage for fly rods.... but I love LOOMIS spinning and baitcasting (gl3 or glx) ..... However, I think they have gone downhill just a bit after changing ownership.

Phil do you stock high dollar baitcasters? I would rather buy from you than from the huge store in SPF that pushes thier own brand which is made in China.

Any bussiness owner on the forum should run a sale for the stimulus checks... spend us out of this thing.... Kinda like WW2......

Got mine a week ago. Haven't spent it yet but it will be gone shortly. New grandbaby to be born next month so wife is going to visit (ie instill how to raise said child) her in Florida. No new fly rods this year-but next year I'll be lookin for a new 9 weight to take to Florida with me.
