Rolan Duffield Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 Phil: Please let me know what's needed. Send me an email. I'll be glad to tie what you need and send it. Rolan
Members Trout Dawg Posted June 20, 2008 Members Posted June 20, 2008 Can always use them but don't knock yourself out... people here have been very generous. Hard to say how much is enough. If you want an excuse to tie- go for it. But I think we'll be fine with what we have coming in. Phil new to the site. so I'm just hearing about the fire. I'll tie some woollys up or any other pattern you would like. Saw a few comments on beads. I have a sac full of plactic orange beads the ones you see on spinner baits. I use for egg sucking leech pattern. If your interested just say the word. I wont be able to get it done by the time you leave so were do I send them. I've also got other gear I was going to yard sale. Anything else they need? Fair Winds and Following Seas Kevin
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 20, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted June 20, 2008 We are pretty much set on flies and even equipment. I'm to my limit in baggage weight for the flight and mailing anything to King Salmon is slow and expensive. Hopefully when I get back I'll have a bunch of salmon and we'll have a big salmon grill party. Thanks to all!!!!!
WebFreeman Posted June 20, 2008 Posted June 20, 2008 You're probably better off w/o my buggers anyway. They're pretty ugly. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 20, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted June 20, 2008 Sockeye aren't picky... I bought thousands of wooly buggers years ago from Kenya for $3.00 per dz. That's what we took up there- nothing fancy at all and they LOVED them. It's terrible they all got burned up. They were great CHEAP flies.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 20, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted June 20, 2008 The laptop just arrived donated by Patfish - Pat Nelms from St Louis. Many thanks!!
