Members Lawman60 Posted June 18, 2008 Members Posted June 18, 2008 Is there any good places to bank fish on the White ?? My wife is handicaped to an extent and althought she can walk she has some trouble doing so. We bank fish the Little Red in the few places available to us. We dont have a boat suitable to put on the river up there yet. I understand that the water level is high. but it is here on the Little Red too. We have just adapted and still catch fish when lots of others can't. I would appreciate any information someone might be willing to share on a decent place to bank fish in either parts of the White, Beaver or Norfork.
John Berry Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 There is a nice fishing pier at Rim Shoals on the White River and at the Ackerman Access (Handicap access) on the Norfork River. snagged in outlet 3 Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 I think John can verify these suggetions. Below Norfork dam can be fished from shore. The State Park below Bull Shoals dam has access. I'm sure there are places around Cotter because I see people on the bank when we float by. Good luck. SIO3
