mosouthpaw Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I think i read in the springfield paper they expected TR to rise 3 ft... cresting on Monday night. The article also said the corp didnt expect to open the flood gates.
Crappie5 Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 Thanks for the update guys. I figured it got pounded again. Probably will turn to mud again. Babler you probably will have a dew days to help Becky clean rooms and do laundry. Ha. Ha.
techo Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 We went out this morning and caught a bunch of shorts. We had that short bite where we missed some too. They seemed to be pushed in the shallows with the rain, but went back out to the 35 foot areas when it warmed up. Boat traffic was a bit frustrating today. I will be going during the week for the rest of the year. Tim Carpenter
SKMO Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Anyone know how much rain the lake received today? Here in Monett I had almost 3 inches. i had a report that Shell Knob had 4 or so inches but did not know if that was true od not. SKMO, did you get that much rain? Babler how was your end of the lake? Sorry for the slow reply... been busy fishing! I am not sure how much we got at Shell Knob, I think 3-4 inches by the crack of dawn yesterday. I went out at 0830 and fished in the rain until 1300 or so. Serious rain at times and I we had another big rain around noon. I am guessing we had close to 6" overall. Basement leaked again. Grass is growing great! I'll make a post for the fishing adventures. SKMO "A True Fisherman with a Rod in His hand, and a Tug on the Line, would not Trade His Position for the Throne of Any King"
