The wife and I stayed there a couple years ago on a fri sat. trip. Only used it for sleeping and found it a little noisy for us till about 3 Am. Also being downwind of the wackey weed smoke helped us understand the reason. I never complained to anybody, just havent been back. My 2 cents take it for what its worth.

PS; It was very entertaining though, maybe it wasen't that we couldn't sleep but didn't want to

Thats what I'm saying my Son works down there and he seems to think it is one of the better places for now.

If you have trouble finding a place, Oak Hill, which is about 4 or 5 miles east on the south side of 64, generally has some sites. They're flat and they have a pool.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Go Cats

Well shoot.Tell the truth I live down here so I never camp here. Most I have done was go to NRO to find my kids and I told my wife on the way out this was not my way of camping.

I truly don't know where to tell you to camp, seems most of them are the same way.Every little patch of ground is money in their pocket and they don't care.

I stayed at Circle J with a group thing I did recently. It sucked. I can't think of anything good to say.

Rocky sites, congested, difficult to park trailers (watched several near-disasters), no extra parking for vehicles if you tent camp, restaurant sucks, staff promises the moon with no intention of delivering, and the only people I worried about pilfering our campsite were the groundskeepers. One of our guys was taking a shower when a young COUPLE came in and decided to shower together in the men's showers. Getting clean was obviously not their only priority. While interesting, NOT A PLACE TO TAKE THE KIDDOS. And the teens were rowdy from sunset to sunrise every night.
