Troy Gregg Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Hey guys, I hope to see you all there, hopefully what little cloud cover they are calling for on sunday sticks around... especially in the morning . what kind of water clarity can we expect this weekend? Gentlemen, its going to be a hot one and best of luck to all of you fishing the Heartland series Troy Gregg
captmac Posted July 28, 2008 Author Posted July 28, 2008 No idea on water clairity, reports say they have had little rain and are not moving water. bet it is red though To have a true friend is wonderful, to have a true friend who fishes with you....... priceless
Hogfan Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Water visibility around the sailboat bridge area is 3'-4' and the water level has dropped around 2' over the last couple weeks. I'm sure they won't be pulling any water this week at any point but fishing this weekend will be good regardless. I'm guessing with the 4 fish limit that it will take over 19lbs Saturday and over 18lbs Sunday to win. I'll be heading down early Thursday morning to practice a couple days and will be fishing the Team event Saturday. Good luck to everyone!
captmac Posted July 30, 2008 Author Posted July 30, 2008 Thanks for the report, am heading down this am, drive carefully and good luck, will be fishing out of a 20 ft Javelin two old guys ha give us a wave To have a true friend is wonderful, to have a true friend who fishes with you....... priceless
