I know its a little late, but I just joined the forum. I took these as part of an assignment since I work part time during the school year as a photographer for the student newspaper. Hope you like them, and if anyone wants a full size image for a background or if you are in a picture just let me know and I can send it to you.

Great pictures!

Reminds you why you work so hard just to have some time to get away from everyone and fish.

Thanks for the pix. Reminds me why I don't go...most years...although,

Here's an opening day tip, go down in the river and fish a glowball (egg fly) while all those folks are chumming the water up for ya!

Those river fish haven't seen or smelled bait in 4 months!

You will most likely have the place to yourself, till they spot ya kickin butt. And there is normally one to two game wardens on duty opening day. So if bait fishermen come down in the trophy area with ya...they are busted.

The only good line is a tight line

Great shots. Meramec Springs is one of my favorite spots in early spring and late fall. I joined the "campers club" there so me and the lady are up there all the time. Too many floaters now, but give it 2 months.

Really nice photos. I really enjoyed the one at the "bath room" hole with the Fat kid in the black shirt with a pretty "purple Snoopy" looking pole. Plus he had a fish on to boot.

I have been to MSSP a few hundred times in my life and I go to BSSP for opening day, but I don't think I could handle MSSP on opening day. What a zoo!

Thanks for the comments everyone, I've never fished opening day and after going to take pictures I will probably never even try to fish opening day.
