TroutRinger
I will be moving to Springfield in two weeks for college, and I'm looking for some good places to fish within about 30 minutes of downtown. I won't have access to a boat and probably won't be able to bring waders or anything because of the lack of space. I would really like to find a nice smallmouth stream with some public access points I can wade in, but I'll take anything suggestions you guys have. zsmith62
I live in springfield, and will too be attending college here this year. Crane and taney are great, but they're more like 45 minutes away. As far as smallmouth streams, the james and finley as well as the big and little sac rivers. Fellows and McDaniels lakes are just north of springfield. I don't know where you guys are from, but if either of you needs someone to show you the local spots, just shoot me a PM. Zach Smith
