Just to let someone know, no matter how many times these yellow jackets sting you, they can keep on stinging. They are in the wasp family which does not die after stinging like a honey bee does. So the theory of having someone else get stung first for you is out the window.

For some stupid reason as a kid we would look around for nests of these things and dare each other to throw rocks at their nests to see if we would get stung. GUESS WHAT??? We always got stung.

Man I'm glad I grew up.
