Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 16, 2008 Root Admin Posted August 16, 2008 I guess a nice, new red (I think) suburban was hot roddin' on the MDC boat ramp last evening about 9 pm when it hit the mossy area on the ramp and slid in the lake. Now it's down at the top of KOA. I guess the Corp didn't get the email.... Anyhow- not sure how they're going to get it out. Put floats on it and pull it with a boat? With the water dropping out, the channel isn't deep enough to float it I bet. This will be interesting. Babler went up and saw it... but didn't take pics. Dog!
RSBreth Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I would love a picture of me casting a fly with a bright shiny (and wet) Suburban in the background. But I don't have the time to go down there right now. Somebody PLEASE shoot some pictures of this. Oh, you know what, I just realized it might be stolen. That would suck.

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 16, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted August 16, 2008 Rich- it should.
LostMyWife Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 That is the second vehicle I have read about floating in Taney. How many swimming 4 wheelers a year do you see? The last one was a pickup that ran over the driver. I would like to see the pics as well. Yes, I'm That Guy

Members JimiB Posted August 17, 2008 Members Posted August 17, 2008 It was a red minivan! I went by again this evening after a long day of fishing (rented a pontoon from lillelys and took the in-laws out and caught a lot of nice trout!) and they had just pulled it out. I saw it this am about 7 and the water was up to the roof! How did it get so far down? Did it float?
