ozarkgunner Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 The fishing is HOT below the darn right now. I went out on Saturday and caught 100+ crappie on minnows with a limit of nice 8-10 inch fish. Switched over to cats are dark and limited out on them also (except for the flatheads). I'm using a boat and running up to the dam. Fishing was good with the both the water on and off. A lot of guys were catching limits of white bass, but I was too busy with other fish. PS. There were tons of people out that day. I know at least one or two of them are on the forum. It's not fair for me to share the information here for nothing in return so Please post your fishing results for others. It's a give and take type of operation. Angler At Law
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 26, 2008 Root Admin Posted August 26, 2008 Thanks for the fishing report. It is appreciated.
bclift65706 Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 is the crappie limit 30 below bagnell in the river with no length limit ? Just wondering never fishe there.
Seth Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Yes, the limit is 30 crappie and there is no length limit on them if you are below the dam on the river side. Glad to hear of the report. I want to take the boat out for one last time this year before I slap the gigging rails on it for the rest of the season and I might have to make the haul up to Bagnell and catch a mess of crappie. Were any of your catfish of any size or just the typical eater cats?
