bigredbirdfan
Thats funny coming from you. Now, does anyone here even read the links have been posted from us radical, left wing, leftist, liberals? I would say by the questions and comments that are still coming from the almighty, righteous party, that the answer is no. I have not posted on this forum anything sleezey about any canidate like their daughter's sexual orientation Chief. Even a die hard conservative like me knows where to draw a line. jdmidwest
The reasons that Palin's daughter has not been brought up. 1: Its off limits and out of character. 2: Alot of the American Public has the same problem, it gives her something more in common with the average Joe. 3: Obama is the product of an 18 year old unwed pregnancy. taxidermist
If you believe in judges who strictly adhear to the constitution and written law, vote Republican. This statement may be the most important reason to vote. Judges have been making up laws as they go, this is not and never will be the right thing to do. I was in the Army under George Bush, have even talked with the elder on the phone several times while in the service. I voted later for Clinton and he destroyed the military and thats one reason the war has cost so much. Its take big money to rebuild tanks, Bradleys and even the lowly Hummvee. even our Ma Duece .50cal machines guns were wornout. M 16s even in bench rest could not hit the target at 150 meters. Nothing on Ft Riley worked and when it did it was only half the time. I like less governement, I think if a soldier must take a randon WIZZ QUIZ (urine) so should the welfare mom to get her check. she should also be working in school or apublic service to get that welfare check. We need change but I dont think Obamas change is the right way.

If it is so off limits why do you mention the exact same fact about Obama???????????????? Oh I get it .... only off limits if it is a republician.. hank franklin
which would be the same as saying that because one of my friends was mayor of Piedmont, MO, he has executive experience that would qualify him to be President. Trust me, he ain't qualified. Are you sure, Al? I wouldn't hire a guy to weed-eat in the time it took some to proclaim Palin's fitness to lead. Danoinark
Gentlemen, It is so amazing to me that this has generated more discussion than fishing reports on a fishing forum no less. Remember our agreement, no disrespect to the candidates nor fellow posters. And out of respect for the Pallin's let's be kind to the 17 year old. This kid is not running for office. Both McCain and Obama have made statements that its not an issue with them so why should it be with us? I don't agree with your statement regarding, "If you believe in judges who strictly adhear to the constitution and written law, vote Republican." It's one of those, "I'm right and you're wrong statements". Democrats are good people tooo wacka do wacka do wacka do. I think Mark Hedger's comments way back at Page 2 of this post hit the nail on the head and summarizes the struggle between the Democratic and Republican Party philosophies. To summarize Mark, "A better question would be, at what point do value issues supercede national security, foreign policy, or economic issues?" I know that doesn't really have anything to do with judges, but, in my opinion, it's a great question and one we should ask ourselves when weighing the current climate and where, based on our votes, the Republican or Democratic party will take us. Danoinark
Is taney and stone counties repub or democrat? Just curious where the votes go there.? I think you have asked this twice without answer Kevin. I wish someone would let you know. Here in Boone County, Ark, just south of Taney Co. Its an interesting mix. It seems that Democrats win the the local elections, Sheriff, Tax collectors, so forth, but vote Republican in State and National races. That tells me there are many independent voters here. I would tend to believe that Republicans fare better in Taney County but that is just a guess on my part.
