Danoinark Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I think I'll vote for Bill Dance. He's a good ol boy (gooder than bubba ever was), provides comic relief in his outtakes and catches bigger bass than either Obama or McCain. He could teach them religeous fanatics how to catch big bass and they would spend all their money in wal-mart. Which would in turn make Zebco the largest company in the universe and improve our economy. Wonder who is runnin partner would be???????? I've got my money on Jesco White, The Dancing Outlaw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M35r1Q4c88I Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
trout fanatic Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Dano: Please re-think your position. Can you imagine our great great grandchildren studyin history in school and learning that WW III was started cuz some freakin cook served up some sloppy eggs? Is that what you want? Course on the other hand, eggs is awful easy on the budget. Got me some ponderin to do

Members OzarkKid07 Posted September 10, 2008 Members Posted September 10, 2008 Hey, does anybody know where Sarah Palin stands in regards to the FairTax? And on that note, I am surprised that none of the conservatives on here have brought that wonderful piece of potential reform up for discussion. Michael J. Greg Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 As an independant (really) I've been as excited and energized by this election as any I can remember. Even though they are vastly different I feel both McCain and Obama are worthy candidates. And I think McCain choosing Sarah Palin was a master stroke. Before he did that I would have said I thought Obama was the favorite. But I think the momemtum has shifted. I'm leaning towards McCain with my vote. I prefer his stance on a number of things. I do wish some would refrain from the name calling it serves no useful purpose at all. Should be a riveting election and we'll make history either way. Trav Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Elephonkey anyone? I hear it tastes great. A little red wine suace with some olive oil and basil. It does sound yummy. Maybe a squirt of lemon and some pepper. There has to be a way to stomach it all. In the end, none of them fish. Wait a minute. Palin's hubby is a commercial fisherman. Does that count with us Sport Anglers? I think it does! We have a weiner! I mean winner. I have never voted anything other than republican in my life. I am a registered money giving republican. I am all for legal immigrants. Our nation is nothing but a bunch of immigrants. My family hit the shores right after the first world war. Plus I don't want to pay five dollars for an apple. I am for freedom of religion and speech even though I am an Athiast and think that the media is too liberal. I think that the muslim and Islamic people of this country walk on egg shells needlessly because of pre-existing forthought. I think african americans have been our biggest assets for way too long. I also think they are, like any race, under estimated. I also think that our asian population could possibly be the best fisherman of all. After all, if you think of it. Other than racist red neck white boys, only they will eat drum and carp. Will someone please tell me what this has to do with fishing in the Ozarks? Politics aside. What are we trying to prove? None of us are right, and none of us are wrong. It is like saying that if your catholic, you hate all prodastants. When you believe in the same guy? I am an Athiast. So excuse me. I just don't get a quarrel when you ideoligize the same thing. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
