jdmidwest Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 WOW, the RNC is taking a wild turn tonight. Rudy is fired up and going strong. Major fun factor tonight. - Obama is the least experienced person to run for president in 100 YEARS. - Biden should get the VP nomination in writing, Obama may change mind. Gotta go, Sarah Palin is coming on to show him a thing or two................ "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
bigredbirdfan Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 She is unbelievably great. The mystical wind of change has been stolen. McCain should jump out to a lead after this.
soggyfeet Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 We the people of the jury find the challenger Palin to be guilty of being the the best nominee for vice president. Brian
jdmidwest Posted September 4, 2008 Author Posted September 4, 2008 I'm thinkin there will be another Clinton hissy fit when Palin becomes the first Woman President. She laid it out good tonight, not bad for a mayor from the great town of Wasilla, nice fly shop there. Three Rivers Fly Shop. Good fishing in that area, close to Montana Creek. soggyfeet Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Look at that we can talk politics and fishing. Brian
soggyfeet Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Sounds like CNN is now on the fence Brian
taxidermist Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Have you ever been to war? It will change your life in so many ways. Sometimes you realize life is to short to put up with a whining snivelling , then it time to move on instead of being miserable the rest of your life. People change and sometimes when you have come back from war you are not the same person, the spouse is not the same person, people change and war sure does not help. it takes a woman with huge to keep a MILITARY family together during deployments, let alone deployed to a combat zone, not knowing from minute to minute, hour to hour, day to day if they are hurt, dead or even if they will have time to write a letter home and God only knows when the next time they will be near a phone is. You certainly learn to the value of life when you go to war. Nam sucked the military came home and idiot spit on them, threw crap on them and most just walked right on ignoring it. The military people had seen worse. No big parades nothing for the Nam vets. Just Democrats pizzing on them and they still are. Then people are down on John McCain. When you watch him move, understand he is stove up, he was beaten and beaten and then stood by their own internal rule for POWs. first in first out. I cannot imagine that. I do understand totally how he lives in pain every day, I do understand his grimasses of pain and he hides them darn well, but thats what most people in chronic pain do. Who thinks McCain's limitation, caused by attacks on him after his plane crashed in North Vietnam and he was denied medical care, looks funny? Do you? HUH DO YOU? Sure McCain has been called hot headed, so what at lest you know where he stands, he is not like some people on these forums!!! He certainly is not like the Democrats and change his mind on hourly basis. I don't think there is one person on these forums that knows the pain McCain has gone through, goes through daily and how well he deals with it and yes that makes him a great person to be the CEO, Commander in Chief of our military and the leader of the freeworld!!
denjac Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 A good friend of mine in Oklahoma his name is Tdang was a boat person in the 70's . He loves America more than most naitive born . He is a stauch Republican. He is worried about McCain from the standpoint as he was in a NV prison camp. To qoute him: I know first hand what those people can do to you, I am afraid his mind isnt right even after all these years. I assured him I think he is fine and will surround hisself with great people. Looks like he is on the right track. Dennis Boothe Joplin Mo. bigredbirdfan Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Is a masked anarchist just a left wing nut? I find it hard to believe that people who are "anarchist" just show up a one national party convention and not the other. Sounds like these left wing militants are just more brazen then they use to be. Ought to send them off to live in Iran.
